Do you usually bring food or snacks with you when you go out?Not usually, unless I know I’ll be out for a long time. If I’m travelling, I might take a bottle of water and something simple like a cereal bar. Day to day, I just buy food when I need it, because there are shops and cafés everywhere in the UK. Carrying snacks all the time feels unnecessary.

Do you always take your phone with you when you go out?Yes, always. It’s not just for calls — I use it for directions, payments, and even train tickets. Without it, I’d feel a bit lost. These days it’s almost impossible to get through a normal day without a smartphone.

那現(xiàn)金呢？現(xiàn)在還有人帶嗎？

Do you usually take cash with you?No, not often. Most places in the UK accept card or contactless payments now, even small cafés or market stalls. I might carry a bit of cash if I’m going somewhere rural, but in cities it’s rarely needed. My wallet is much lighter than it used to be.

再說到現(xiàn)金使用頻率——你多久用一次現(xiàn)金？

How often do you use cash?Very rarely. The only time I really use it is for small things like tipping or car parks that don’t take cards. Even then, it feels a bit old-fashioned. In general, contactless payments have replaced cash almost completely in my daily life.

聊完出門，咱們再說說“鞋子”。

Do you like buying shoes?Not particularly. I buy them when I need them, but I wouldn’t call it something I enjoy. Some people treat shoes as a hobby or even a collection, but for me they’re just practical. I’d rather spend my time and money on other things.

Have you ever bought shoes online?Yes, a few times. It’s convenient, but the problem is that sizes can be inconsistent, and you don’t know how comfortable they’ll be until you try them on. I once ordered a pair of trainers online, and although they looked fine, they gave me blisters after ten minutes. Since then, I usually prefer going to a shop.

How much money do you usually spend on a pair of shoes?It depends on the type. For everyday trainers, maybe around ￡60–￡80. If it’s something more formal, like smart shoes for work or an event, I might spend a bit more. I wouldn’t go over ￡150 though — I don’t see the point in paying hundreds just for a brand name.

最后一個問題——選時尚鞋還是舒適鞋？

Which do you prefer – fashionable or comfortable shoes?Definitely comfortable. Fashionable shoes are nice, but if you can’t walk in them for more than half an hour, they’re useless. In the UK, the weather also plays a role — you need shoes that are practical for rain and cold, not just stylish. For me, comfort always comes first.
